Returning for the 2023 model year, the Rubicon 392 features a roaring HEMI engine, taking the Wrangler Rubicon’s on and off-road performance to the next level. THE LEGEND POWERS ON

The Only Wrangler With A 6.4L HEMI V8

The moment you push the engine button and feel that 6.4L HEMI® V8 engine roar to life, you’ll know that 470 horses of pure power are at your command. That’s the moment you truly understand why we created the Wrangler Rubicon 392.

Hydro-Guide Air Induction System

The functional hood with Hydro-Guide Air Induction System enhances engine performance. Cooler air helps lower engine temperature and the system helps separate water from the intake if traveling in wet conditions.

LEGENDARY OFF-ROAD CAPABILITY

Pure Adrenaline

Experience the rush of the Wrangler Rubicon 392. Its 470-horsepower engine powers through a quarter mile in 13.0 seconds, going 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. A heavy-duty braking system helps you maintain control wherever you go.

Outstanding Suspension Travel

An Electronic Sway Bar Disconnect allows for massive articulation in the front end with a ramp travel index of 730—giving you superb off-road capability for rock crawling adventures. Always drive within your ability and experience level and consistent with conditions.

FIERCE BY DESIGN

The Wheel Deal

33-inch all-terrain tires wrapped around 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels come standard on Wrangler Rubicon 392. For even more capability, the available Xtreme Recon Package delivers 35-inch tires straight from the factory.

Dual-Mode Exhaust

With the simple push of a button, the Dual-Mode Exhaust System can be toggled between quiet and performance exhaust modes. Quiet mode lets you moderate exhaust sound, while performance mode opens the electronically controlled valves, enhancing the sound. Plus, this system will automatically revert to performance mode while carrying heavy loads or running at high RPM, helping minimize back pressure and maximize horsepower.

ELEVATED INTERIOR

First Class Seating

Stay supported through every twist and turn with performance seat bolsters that hug your body on even the most brutal trail. The black leather-trimmed seats with bronze interior stitching feature a custom embroidered “392” logo.

Shift Into Gear

Steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters let you travel up and down the gears without taking your hands off the wheel.

What powers the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392?

The Wrangler Rubicon 392 isn’t the first vehicle to use the 6.4L HEMI V8. In fact, it has quite a reputation in the Dodge muscle car lineup, under the hood of the Charger and Challenger Scat Pack trim levels. In the Wrangler Rubicon 392, however, the 392-cubic-inch engine provides drivers with a hefty 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters, the HEMI engine brings the Rubicon 392 from 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds! The Wrangler Rubicon 392 uses the Wrangler’s Selec-Trac 4×4 system, which allows the vehicle to intelligently read road conditions and adjust the drivetrain to handle the conditions best. Cold air is essential to engine performance, and Jeep provides this cold air for the Wrangler 392 with the new Hyrdro Guide air intake system. Using a functional hood scoop and three ducts to remove up to 15 gallons of water per minute from the engine compartment. This allows the Rubicon 392 to wade in water depths up to 33 inches. No other engine roars quite like a HEMI. This is why Jeep gave the Rubicon 392 a dual-mode exhaust system. With two tailpipes below either side of the vehicle’s rear bumper, drivers can choose between Performance and Normal mode. Performance mode allows for straight exhaust flow, letting loose the distinctive HEMI growl we know and love. Meanwhile, normal mode sends the exhaust through the entire muffler before being sent out the quad tips, which results in a quieter exhaust noise.

Off-Road Capability of the 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392

While the V6-powered Wrangler Rubicon is equipped to tackle just about any terrain imaginable, the Rubicon 392 takes that to a new level. Jeep improved the Wrangler’s approach, breakover, and departure angles for the Rubicon 392. This allows it to easily pass over trail obstacles with up to 11.1 inches of ground clearance. The Rubicon 392 also comes straight from the factory with high-pressure gas-charged monotube shock absorbers to provide optimal comfort and handling even in off-road conditions. The shocks also provide the Rubicon 392 with a two-inch lift. Additionally, the Rubicon 392 comes with Jeep’s Off-Road+ button with Sand and Rock modes. When the driver selects one of these modes, the vehicle will automatically adjust traction control, transmission shift points, and throttle control to handle the selected surface best. Another impressive feature of the Rubicon 392 is the Selec-Speed control system. While off-roading at speeds between 0.6 and 5 MPH, the driver can set a particular speed for the vehicle to maintain so that they can focus on maneuvering the vehicle while the vehicle controls the speed. Like the regular Wrangler Rubicon, the Rubicon 392 features an electronic sway bar disconnect, providing greater wheel articulation and suspension travel, along with tow hooks, 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac all-terrain tires, high-strength steel skid plates, and more.

What is Jeep’s Xtreme Recon Package?

Once again, even after creating the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392, Jeep felt as though they could do better. So they created the optional Xtreme Recon package. For the Wrangler Rubicon 392, the Xtreme Recon package adds 35-inch BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires. In addition to the added traction they provide, the larger tires help the Rubicon 392 achieve a towering 12.9-inch ground clearance, 33.6-inch water fording depth, a 47.4-degree approach angle, and a 40.4-degree departure angle, opening up more doors for just how far off the road the Wrangler Rubicon 392 can go!
