What is the Power Behind the 2026 Ram 1500
It is not too often that a vehicle’s engine lineup is directly affected by customer input, but in this case – Ram listened! The much-missed 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 is back for 2026. But the good news does not stop there. This year’s Hemi is better than ever before; it pumps out 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft of torque and features a new eTorque hybrid technology, for even better efficiency. Eight different trim levels will feature the Hemi V8 – including Tradesman, Big Horn, Express, Warlock, Laramie, Rebel, Limited and Longhorne. Other just-as-impressive engine options include a 3.6L Pentastar V6 with ETORQUE, a 3.0L Hurricane Engine, and a High-Output version of the Hurricane.
