Trim Levels of the 2022 Jeep Compass

The Jeep Compass has been a part of the heritage brand for years, and as a compact crossover SUV, it’s a great option for a wide variety of drivers who want a sporty and agile vehicle. The Compass offers a bit more space than your average compact crossover, putting it right between the Jeep Renegade and the Jeep Cherokee in terms of size. Inside, the cabin seats up to five passengers, with up to 27 cubic feet of storage space in the rear. For the 2022 model year, the Compass is getting the ultimate upgrade, including a redesigned front fascia, tons of brand-new tech features like the new Uconnect 5 infotainment system, and luxurious additions like heated seats, leather upholstery, and more. The lineup consists of five trim levels, the Sport, Latitude, Latitude LUX, Trailhawk, and Limited. The Latitude LUX is new to the collection this year, and it fits right in with the sleek and refined Compass aesthetic. Sport
The Sport is the first trim level on the list, and it features the standard powertrain for the whole lineup. This includes a 2.4-liter Tigershark 4-cylinder paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and rear-wheel drive. 4-wheel drive is also an option, and in this case, the Compass would feature a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Sport also features cloth upholstery, new slim LED headlights, and the revised front fascia which is sleeker and more streamlined than before. All models now include the new Uconnect 5 system, and the Sport comes with an 8.4-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Latitude
The Latitude is one step up from the Sport, but still includes all its standard features. In addition, however, the Latitude offers some extra features that amp up its comfort and convenience. It has 17-inch wheels made from strong, lightweight aluminum. It also features LED fog lights to help you maintain excellent visibility. It has body-color exterior accents like the bumpers and side mirrors, which give it a sleek and cohesive look. The Latitude features heated side mirrors, ambient overhead lighting, automatic headlights, and keyless entry. It also features rain-sensing wipers, a leather-wrapped shift knob, and illuminated visors.

Latitude LUX
As the new trim level joining the lineup, we’re sure you’re wondering what the Latitude LUX has in store for 2022. The goal of the Latitude LUX is to add some more luxury features into the middle of the lineup, so that drivers have even more variety to choose from. This trim level certainly kicks things up a notch, in terms of both design and capability. It features leather interior, a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, and a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel. It also has 8-way power-adjustable seats, and a remote start system. In terms of capability, the Latitude LUX comes with standard 4X4 using Jeep Active Drive, and all-weather tires. It even has standard Selec-Terrain Traction Management so you can drive with ease in sand, snow, mud, and more!

Trailhawk
The Trailhawk has an instantly recognizable appearance thanks to its sporty 30-degree approach angle. It also has bright red tow hooks, and a black anti-glare hood decal that will help deflect the sun’s rays. The Trailhawk is Jeep Trail Rated for its off-road prowess, and it comes with standard 4-wheel drive using the Jeep Active Drive Low 4X4 system. This system prioritizes low-range gearing, and has a 20:1 crawl ratio. The Trailhawk also comes with a 1-inch factory lift for increase ground clearance, and it can even handle up to 19 inches of water fording. The Compass has a maximum towing capacity of up to 2,000 pounds, perfect for bringing a small trailer or 4-wheeler with you on your next adventure!

Limited
The Limited is the final trim level of the 2022 Jeep Compass lineup. This model is rounding out the collection by introducing the most luxurious theme out of all the trim levels. The Limited features a new color scheme for the 2022 model year, with black, grey, and sepia tones that compliment each other throughout the interior. The Slate Grey leather interior is finished with Burnished Copper accent stitching which makes the colors pop. On the exterior, you’ll find a Gloss Black roof, rain-sensing wipers, and roof rails, as well as 18-inch diamond-cut wheels.
