The 2024 Jeep Wrangler lineup is kicked off by the Sport, powered by the standard 285-horsepower 3.6L V6 engine. While much of the Wrangler Sport remains the same, there are subtle updates that require a closer look. While the upright seven-slot grille remains, it features a refreshed color scheme, adding Neutral Gray Metallic bezels, black textured slots, and body-color surrounds. The open-air freedom that the Wrangler is iconic for also remains with removable doors, a fold-down windshield, and a removable top. The 2024 model year brings a new premium soft top as standard equipment, while a black or body-color hardtop is optional. Other exterior features for the 2024 Wrangler Sport include 17-inch steel wheels, 32-inch tires, Dana solid front and rear axles, fog lights, and a trail-ready stealth antenna integrated into the windshield. Inside the 2024 Wrangler Sport, the most notable new feature is the all-new 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen offering the latest in in-car infotainment technology. Other interior features include side curtain airbags for both rows of seating, a Gray Soul instrument panel bolster, eight speakers, and more.

The Sport S trim follows up, bringing all of the Wrangler Sport’s standard features plus more. Outside, these additional features include 17-inch alloy wheels, a Gorilla Glass windshield, power-adjustable/heated side mirrors, keyless entry, and automatic headlamps. Meanwhile, the interior of the Sport S gains power windows and power door locks. The Wrangler Sport S also adds more safety with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and advanced brake assist. For the first time, the Sport S trim is eligible for the 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain, bringing a lower price point to America’s most popular PHEV SUV.

The Wrangler Willys is designed to honor the Jeep Brand’s rich heritage that dates back to the World War II-era Willys-Overland Jeep MB, designed to transport troops, weapons, and more on the battlefields. The Willys trim proudly wears its name with a decal that reads ‘Willys’ on either side of the hood in a military-style stencil font. The Wrangler Willys also features 33-inch off-road tires on 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps and fog lamps, a rear locking differential, 10.8 inches of ground clearance, rock rails, Off-Road+ mode, and all-weather floor mats. These features are on top of the standard features of the Sport S trim.

The Sahara puts a more premium spin on the Wrangler, bringing more style and comfort. The Wrangler Sahara is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged I-4 engine with 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque powering the Selec-Trac 4×4 system with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Sahara’s exterior features include fully LED exterior lighting (headlamps, taillamps, and fog lights), 18-inch alloy wheels with 32-inch tires, body-color fender flares, a proximity key, and remote start. The Sahara’s grille is also updated with Platinum Silver bezels. Meanwhile, the interior adds heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a 7-inch digital driving information display, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

The legendary Rubicon trim returns for the 2024 model year with more rugged capability than ever before. Its off-roading features include electronic front sway-bar disconnect, Tru-Lok front and rear axle lockers, Rock-Trac part-time 4×4 with a 4:1 low-range gear ratio, a Dana 44 Heavy-Duty full-float rear axle, and 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac all-terrain tires. Other features for the Wrangler Rubicon include Trailer Tow with Heavy-Duty Electrical Group, auxiliary switches, black water-resistant Addax cloth instrument panel mid bolster, LED lighting, and rock rails. The Rubicon is eligible for other options, like steel bumpers, a factory Warn winch, 35-inch all-terrain tires, a 1.5-inch lift, and more.

The Rubicon X trim is all-new for the 2024 model year, featuring a wide range of features to take the already impressive Rubicon to the next level. The Wrangler Rubicon X also uses Rock-Trac 4×4, but it features a full-time transfer case for additional capability. To help navigate steep and difficult terrain, the Rubicon X features a forward-facing off-road camera, displaying what is on the trail ahead of you on the Uconnect 5 touchscreen. It also adds winch-capable steel bumpers, 17-inch beadlock-capable alloy wheels, 35-inch BFGoodrich T/A KO2 all-terrain tires, swing gate reinforcement, and a 1.5-inch factory lift kit. The Rubicon X is also eligible for a Warn winch from the factory. Other standard features include built-in navigation, heated front seats, 12-way power-adjustable front seats, Nappa leather-trimmed upholstery, a body-color hard top, Alpine premium audio with nine speakers, blindspot monitoring, rear cross-traffic warning, and rear park assist.
