Level 1 Charger
Level 1 charger is a basic unit that plugs into the standard household outlet. It charges the car at around 8–20 miles per hour, with a range of 2–5 miles per hour. This charger is the most basic and the least expensive option for EV charging. It is also the most convenient as it offers ‘plug and play’ abilities. All Jeep, Dodge, and Chrysler EVs come with a Level 1 Charger.

Level 2 Charger
Level 2 chargers are more powerful and have higher charging rates than Level 1 chargers. Level 2 chargers can charge an EV at around 25–50 miles per hour, with a range of 8–25 miles per hour. They are typically used in public places such as shopping malls and parking lots, as well as for long distance driving.
